CBSE Exams 2021:  Class 12 Board Exams Postponed, Class 10 Exams Cancelled

The board exams for class 12th will be held which were supposed to be held between the 4th of May and the 14th of June have been postponed this is of course for the 10th class whereas for the 12th class the board exams have now been in fact for the 10th class the board exams have been canceled for the 12th the exams have been postponed. this is of course part of a review that has been done by the education ministry and a decision is going to be taken after the 1st of June 2021 a notice of at least 15 days will be given before the start of the examinations.

The results of the class 10th board will be prepared on the basis of an objective criterion to be developed by the board which is still a work in progress and this is important for any candidate who is not satisfied with the marks allocated to him or her on the basis on this basis will be given an opportunity to sit in an exam as and when the conditions are conducive to hold the examinations foreign.

Now this decision has come after tweets letters by leaders of the opposition and subsequently a meeting today between the prime minister as well as the various education ministers of the state. it’s a huge relief for not only the students who are taking the exam but even the parents who for them it’s an extremely difficult phase that one that they would go ahead with the exams and in this pandemic situation where they’re where their health concerns and their safety and security is of most important so given the fact that the government has decided to postpone it at least for the 12th standard and standard to cancel it completely is a big relief for many parents.

It’s in that entirety that the prime minister today uh participated and discussed with the CPSC officials earlier also for the last two days there have been a series of meetings within the government and the HRD ministry of what should be the steps taken and it was quite clear that they were going to postpone the exams. now that they have taken a completely holistic view this is something that will be uh seen as an extremely positive step because what is more important you writing the exams or your health and your health takes priority there is a clearly a situation which is very very difficult things are going spiraling out of control having said that the children need to be taken care of and the government of India in the wisdom of things has decided and at the outset, good senses prevail in ensuring that these exams a final view will be taken on the 1st of June hopefully by then we will have things under control and things would be much better.
